Papua New Guinea Open – Final round (QLD)
T35 Nathan Uebergang QLD (+12) 74 70 76 80
It may seem odd, but yes, PNG does hold a golf tournament and quite a good one as a matter of fact. Although the course is a bit rough due to the nature of the extremely humid climate, the layout itself is reasonably challenging.
I rather enjoyed my week thanks to Graham, the great billet I had. He put me up at the Ela Beach Hotel and I was able to enjoy the hospitality at his own restaurant. So thanks for the nice week in PNG Graham
The PNG Open is part of the QLD Sunshine Tour. It is fast becoming one of the more popular tournaments on the pro-am schedule.

Maybe Oz’s hospitality was a bit too much in the food department rendering you a little sluggish on the course !

The last day must have had some type of weather conditions from looking at the scores. By the way what did you think of Ryo shooting 58?
