FINAL ROUND
It was nice to get a couple of shots back and finish the event with a positive round. I struck the ball quite well today and my driving has improved out of site this year since I’ve got a Grafalloy Blue shaft back in the big dog.

Staying at the Ela Beach Hotel this week has been great. The food at the restaurant has been fantastic! So a big thanks to Graham, my billet. I hope you see this mate! A well fed Nathan is a happy Nathan

I’ll be back at uni tomorrow afternoon so “here here” to some good plane flights tomorrow.

Good week! The guys at the top played really well and in the end I wasn’t too far away.

A big thanks to Jacob and the boys at Mapai for another good week here in Lae. I was here last time in 2008 and they have been great hosts, looking after me well. Jacob is a guy who is very proud of his country, absolutely loves his fellow man, and desires the best for those in his company and the village he grew up with in the highlands. It’s pretty cool meeting guys like that who are keen to give back to where they came from.

Here we are, back in Papua New Guinea

I knew I’d be back here at some stage. I really enjoyed the time when I was in Lae during ’08. Sure, PNG is pretty rough, but if you don’t get up to much mischief or muck around, things should be ok.

The Morobe course is in great condition. Scores will just be dependent on short game. The greens are couch and very bumpy, so if you can get it up and down and hole a few putts… you’ll be a good chance at the end of the week.

WOW! What a pure golf course they have! It’s the first time I’ve been to Port Hughes (which is beautiful by the way) and this new Greg Norman layout has some of the BEST greens you will EVER putt on! What a treat.
