Unfortunately that missed qualifying by one shot. I shouldn’t have tripled the first!

Who knowns! 🙂 But seriously, it is exciting to know I’ll be playing some golf before uni starts again at the end of February. It is reassuring that uni will be rolling along and it is nice knowing a “plan B” is there. Hopefully the uni will help ease some of the pressure over the coming years but the challenge will be finding the time to do sufficient practice. My passion still rests with getting my golf game up to scratch and shooting good scores again.

I’ve been hard at work on the practice range the last month and many areas of my game are heading in the right direction for some better golf over the next month. But there is still a long way to go with it and now is a good time to get things at least heading in the right direction.

From March onwards I will probably be playing very little over the following 9 months (until uni ends) so that helps provide some extra motivation for this next little period to fire up!

Struggled a bit out there in the yuck weather. I did something I hope I’ll never do again… somehow I managed to have 5 consecutive 3-putts… ha. Clearly I didn’t like the greens as much as Twin Waters a couple of days ago.

It was good to see Peter Senior and congratulate him on the great year he’s had in the States. The guy is a real legend of Australian golf and a top bloke as well. I hope he racks up some wins on the seniors tour next year.
