Howeston Pro Am (QLD)

It’s a steady finish to what was an enjoyable rookie season on the QLD Troppo Tour. The Howeston Pro-am was the last event on the QLD Pro-am 07/08 calendar.
Also, there was a long drive competition held after today’s play and I’m glad to say I came through with the goods to pick up the $300 prize. I just snuck it in by a couple metres…. ok, 30 metres haha.
I’ll finish 10th on the QLD Order of Merit which will allow me to play any QLD Pro-ams I want to during the upcoming season. It’s a nice thing to know, but obviously that isn’t going to be much of an issue as I’ll be playing in Japan next year 😉

10th is a tidy result. You’ve finished off the season with a nice string of consistent performances, which must be very satisfying for you after considering throwing the ball around towards the beginning. (I still laugh when I think of that. Sounds like my bunker play.)
