Papua New Guinea Open – Final round (QLD)
T35 Nathan Uebergang QLD (+12) 74 70 76 80
It may seem odd, but yes, PNG does hold a golf tournament and quite a good one as a matter of fact. Although the course is a bit rough due to the nature of the extremely humid climate, the layout itself is reasonably challenging.
I rather enjoyed my week thanks to Graham, the great billet I had. He put me up at the Ela Beach Hotel and I was able to enjoy the hospitality at his own restaurant. So thanks for the nice week in PNG Graham 🙂
The PNG Open is part of the QLD Sunshine Tour. It is fast becoming one of the more popular tournaments on the pro-am schedule.

Maybe Oz’s hospitality was a bit too much in the food department rendering you a little sluggish on the course !

The last day must have had some type of weather conditions from looking at the scores. By the way what did you think of Ryo shooting 58?
