Australian Masters – Final Round

FINAL ROUND
What an enjoyable week this week has been. I had my best mate Chris on the bag with me, helping me around the course each day. His dad and my brother were also able to come to Melbourne and enjoy the week that is the Masters. And the coolest thing is my fiance was able to come over for a few days and share in the week as well. Just fantastic.
2ND ROUND
It’s really nice to be playing the weekend at the Masters! I played well today but just had a little slip up on the closing holes after not taking advantage of some good shots. I hit it to 4ft on 16 but missed the putt. On the par 5 17th I drew a 3W to much which bounced along the right side and rolled out of bounds. I had to go back to the tee and was able to hit 3W and 6i on the green to save bogey. On the last I hit a great drive into the wind and a nice 4 iron which ran over the green. I lagged the putt up to 4ft but missed the birdie. Overall I drove the ball really well today and made some nice saves early in the round.

Tough day at the office there today, Nathan. It is always hard to get going when you triple the first hole of the day (I can vouch for that, as I have become quite expert at it). Keep your spirits up. It is good for development to make the weekend for a big tournament. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Nice round! I know one of the US players in the field as he is from a high school where I had coached — Jim Herman. If you see him say hello for me the Colerain golf coach.
