Irrigation Tasmania 2012 Highlands Pro Am (TAS)
5 Nathan Uebergang QLD (ev) 66
Today we got to play what is officially Australia’s oldest golf course! Royal Bothwell I call it. It is build on a farm and has sheep wandering around which graze the fairways and maintain the course… needless to say the course isn’t in great condition but it is a unique layout and was enjoyable to play for its sheer quirkiness. It’s not often you have wire fences around the greens to keep the sheep out 🙂

Hi Geoff, thanks for the well wishes.
Tony… 75!! Can you believe it?? Ha, just kidding. Good on him 🙂
I would love to get back to Safety Beach if the opportunity presents itself, so thanks for the welcome.
Keep it short and sweet mate. Nathan.

Hi Nathan Geoff here from Safety Beach – looks like things are starting to head in the right direction – have been watching and really pleased your getting the resilts. Tony the hooker had a 75 off the stick last week – maybe a drug test required after weeks of hooking the ball but good things happen when you practice and he has been fairly determined. Keep up rhe good rounds.
Would rather watch you on tv but was great to meet you and watch what can be done with a golf club. Look forward to meeting up next year. If you need accomodation at Safety Beach email me on ……………… Have 4 spare rooms so space and views and beers available if you need it
Regards
Geoff Hamill the shorter with the attacking swing
